OXENHOPE will be aiming for a sixth Keighley FA Challenge Cup triumph on Friday (7.30pm) as their clash with Silsden Whitestar tops the bill of district cup finals at Silsden FC.

This is the first time the sides have met in the final with Oxenhope looking to win the trophy for the fourth year in succession, while Silsden Whitestar have reached the show-piece for the second occasion and are looking for their first victory.

Oxenhope have been unable to match the exploits of recent seasons and their relegation from the top flight of the West Yorkshire League Premier Division has been confirmed.

However, they are keen to end the campaign on a positive note with some silverware.

Silsden Whitestar will be the underdogs but they are a club who appear to be on the rise and are hoping to clinch the runners-up spot in the Craven League Premier Division.

They are also chasing silverware on another front after reaching the Premier Division Cup final against Pendle Renegades at Sutton next Wednesday.

Further evidence of the club's progress is the presence of their reserve side in the Keighley FA Supplementary Cup final on Monday (7.30pm) against Steeton's second string.

Having only been formed this season, Whitestar have already earned promotion from Craven League Division Three and came close to achieving a double, only to lose their League Cup final to champions Ilkley on Tuesday.

Steeton Reserves have consolidated their position in the second tier of the West Riding County Amateur League – an achievement which cannot be underestimated as they are playing against the first teams of all clubs bar one.

They bowed out of the Division One Cup semi-final on penalties this week but will be keen to make up for it with their ninth Supplementary Cup success, which would put them one ahead of Cross Hills.

The Keighley FA Sunday Cup final (Sunday, 11am) sees a repeat of last year's show-piece as Bradford Phoenix and Crossflatts Village go head to head again.

After promotion last season, Phoenix have consolidated their status in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Premier Division with a creditable sixth place finish.

Crossflatts, 2-1 winners in last season’s encounter, have had a successful campaign, enjoying their best ever finish in the Wharfedale Triangle top flight by claiming the runners-up spot.

The Keighley FA's run of finals kicks off tonight (6.30pm) with the under-12s Liam Daley Trophy encounter between Huddersfield League side Bingley Barca and Craven, Aire & Wharfe League opponents Silsden Dragons.

It promises to be a highly competitive clash as both clubs are looking for a record fourth win.
