SAMIR Tahraoui has left Keighley Cougars after the club agreed to his request to be released from his contract.
The big prop rejoined the club for a second spell ahead of the 2018 season following his departure from Rochdale Hornets and made four appearances, his last coming in March’s League One defeat at York City Knights.
Tahraoui, who also had a spell with Bradford Bulls, had been sidelined with a groin injury before returning to action in Keighley's Reserves Championship defeat to Halifax last Wednesday.
He received a red card for his role in a fracas in that derby and was also sent off in the fiery friendly against the Bulls at Odsal back in February.
