COWLING and Broomhill played a dramatic Northern Plant Hire Trophy game at Bronte Fields, a match which saw the Keighley side beat the visitors 4-3 in extra-time.

Luke Barker, Jack Diamond and Stephen Schofield scored for Cowling and substitute Jake Ward got a brace for Broomhill.

In another exciting Trophy encounter, Mish Allen's four goals saw Division One side Cononley Sports Club beat Division Two side Earby Town 7-4 at Cononley.

Jake Manditsch added a brace and substitute James Robinson scored for Cononley, and Earby got goals from Jake Hargreaves, Daniel Ibbetson, Daniel Jackson and Matthew Nutter.

Carleton Sports Club knocked Skipton Town out of the Northern Plant Hire Trophy with a 3-1 win on Saturday.

Goals by Luke Howsen, Fred Midgley and Benjamin Teal cancelled out Ryan Hoggarth's strike for Town in a match played at Carleton's Limehouse Lane ground.

Division Two's Salts 3rds beat Division One team Chatburn 7-2 in another Trophy game, and Division Three Addingham beat bottom of the league Sutton 7-3 in the final Northern Plant Hire Trophy game of the weekend.

Steven Hunt led the way for Addingham, scoring four goals, while Lee Walker bagged a brace Charlie Smith netted once for the visitors. Terence Hargreaves scored a hat-trick for Sutton.

In Premier Division action, there were goals aplenty as Silsden Whitestar drew 5-5 against Grassington United.

Ollie Hunter, Josh Mcnulty, Josh Metcalfe, Sam Stansfield and substitute Gary Lund all scored for hosts Silsden and Oscar Canny (2), Reece Fowler, Daniel Hunt and Peter Messenger all netted for Grassington.

Trawden Celtic Juniors thrashed FC Sporting Keighley 9-1 in another Premier Division game.

In Division One action, Silsden Whitestar Reserves beat Trawden Celtic Reserves 3-1 behind goals by Tom Appleby, Ryan Narey and Damien Whiteoak.

In Division Two, a hat-trick by David Greenwood led second place Grassington United Reserves to a 5-0 victory against Cowling Reserves. Declan Hawkins and Sean Clayton also scored for Grassington.

Broomhill Reserves beat Bingley Town Reserves 5-1, a Jake Thompson netted twice for the Keighley side.

In Division Three, Matthew Blackwell and Gareth Turner each scored a brace for Barnoldswick Barons as they overcame a 3-0 deficit at half-time to beat Salts 4ths 5-4.

Addingham Reserves lost 2-1 to Otley Town and Crosshills Reserves drew 2-2 with iPlay FC. Jordan Hough and Luke Newton each scored for Crosshills.
