CITY'S Football Development Programme are getting a brand-new facility.
As part of their link with St Bede's and St Joseph's College, they will be getting a new football development centre built, at the site just off Heaton Road.
There is already an impressive set-up at the facility for the Bantams youngsters, with multiple football pitches and a sports hall currently in place there.

Some of City's youngsters (15s, 16s and 18s), as well as a parent group, are taking part in a 'Race to Spain' to help raise money to fund the new facility.
They are 'running' to FC Malaga City Academy, their long-time friends from the south of Spain.
Obviously all runs will have to take place close to home, but it will be some effort from those taking part, with the distance between Bradford and Malaga around 1,600 miles.

The new development centre is set to be ready later in the year, hopefully in time for the programme's expansion.
It previously focused on the Under-15s to Under-23, but will include U9s to U14s from this September onwards.
These younger groups will be taken on from the club's Community Foundation, where they have been mentored by Qasim Akhtar, who is also a coach at Silsden.
