KEIGHLEY are hovering close to the drop zone in Bradford League Division One after another defeat.
Baildon returned to winning ways with a 132-run win over Keighley. Simon Bailey (57), Kevin McDermott (56), Jonny Reynolds (43) and Jack Hainsworth (30) helped the Jenny Laners to 233-8.
Leg spinner James Massheder took 4-66 for Keighley who were bowled out for 101. Skipper Dwayne Heke (4-33) and Ben Grimmitt (3-7) sparked their demise.
Meanwhile, in Division Three, Crossflatts took another step towards promotion at the first attempt with a 101-run win over Heckmondwike & Carlinghow.
Mohammad Shahnawaz continued to impress at the top of the order with 60, while Ben Crispin (33) and Josh Brooksbank (32) helped build a score of 227.
Javed Iqbal (3-48), Waqas Asad (3-56) and Kanhu Pattnayak (3-27) shared the bowling honours.
