SILSDEN had a lengthy away trip to AFC Mansfield in the NCEL Premier Division and they came back empty handed.
They lost 2-0 on the day, going down to goals from Jack Gibbs and Lynton Karkach either side of the break.
After a bright start to the campaign, Silsden have hit the buffers slightly, and now sit 11th.
Manager Danny Forrest now has to hope his side can bounce back quickly, with the Cobbydalers hosting Garforth Town in a league clash this evening.
