IT IS another win on the board for Keighley Cougars, but probably now how they would have imagined.
The League 1 leaders have been awarded a 48-0 victory over London Skolars by the RFL, after the fixture in the capital was cancelled due to the home club having a lack of appropriate medical cover.
That makes it 13 wins from 13 this season for Cougars, who lead the table by six points.
An RFL statement read: "The fixture between London Skolars and Keighley Cougars, due to have been played on Saturday, July 9, has been awarded to the Cougars by a winning margin of 48-0 in line with RFL Operational Rules (B1:22).
"The fixture was cancelled because the home club were unable to provide appropriate medical cover.
"RFL Compliance will now consider what further action might be taken."
