KEIGHLEY Cougars won all 20 of their league games this season, so it is hardly surprising that they scooped up all of the major third-tier prizes at the Championship and League 1 awards on Monday night.
The coveted League 1 Player of the Year crown was won by captain and fly-half Jack Miller, the top points scorer in the division for 2022.
There was a nice little backstory to Miller's award, as it was 10 years ago to the day since his father, Tony, won the Championship One Coach of the Year award, while he was in charge at Doncaster.
Back to Monday night, and it was an easy decision to hand Rhys Lovegrove the League 1 Coach of the Year prize, having led his side to that unbeaten league season.
The final big award won by Cougars was the League 1 Club of the Year.
