LUKE Gale is the big-name absentee from Keighley Cougars' squad for their trip to York RLFC on Good Friday in the Betfred Championship.
The half-back looked to have been rested after missing out on his side's comfortable Challenge Cup fourth round win over North Wales Crusaders last Saturday.
But evidently he is also carrying an injury, so will not be travelling up to North Yorkshire tomorrow evening.
But fellow Super League stalwart Ben Crooks might be in line to return from his broken thumb, having being named in the squad for the first time since Cougars' 26-18 defeat to Widnes Vikings in mid-February.
Jimmy Keinhorst also returns on dual registration from Hull KR, having featured in Keighley's last Championship game, a thumping win over derby rivals Bradford Bulls.
Dane Chisholm sparkled in the halves that day, and he is back after being rested for the cup win over North Wales.
Dan Parker is in the squad for this game, but is facing a one-match ban after the RFL handed a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge down to him for late contact on the passer in last week's Challenge Cup win.
