A 12-year-old Silsden talent is celebrating, after being called up for England.
Ella Mallinson has been playing under the Silsden Smashers Rounders umbrella for two years as part of their thriving junior set-up.
And after excelling at a tournament last weekend, Ella has been given a ‘Golden Ticket’ to get on to the Rounders England Talent Pathway.
She was recently named player of the year at South Craven School too.
Her dad Chris paid tribute to Smashers coach Nicola McNally for helping Ella along the way, with both coach and family proud of the youngster’s achievements.
