KEIGHLEY potter Chris Melling is set to be involved in a real Christmas cracker.
Ultimate Pool have chosen eight of the most exciting and successful players from Britain to take part in a ‘Clash of the Titans’ event on Saturday, December 16.
It will take place at the Brentwood Centre in Essex, where Melling will be playing alongside Tom Cousins, Stevie Dempsey, Shane Thompson, Declan Brennan, Shaun Chipperfield, Jordan Shepherd and Carl Morris.
The tournament has been billed as “an 8-ball experience like no other” and while the main shootout event involving those top stars will take place on the evening, the afternoon will see fans get the chance to play against the eight professionals, with prizes on offer.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for £25, with those rising to £30 nearer the time.
