Featherstone Rovers have handed one-year deals to two former Keighley players, including one who was plying his trade at Cougar Park last season.

Jamaica international Keenen Tomlinson only signed for Keighley at the start of 2023, and only featured a handful of times before the end of the season.

He had been on trial at Fev in pre-season, featuring in their narrow win over Bulls, and has done himself enough to earn a permanent contract now.

Prop Jack Arnold spent over three years at Cougars but was released in February 2022, joining Oldham for the rest of that campaign and then signing for Rochdale ahead of 2023.

This move to Fev marks Arnold’s first experience of the Championship.

Arnold and Tomlinson could be going up against their former club Cougars in the Challenge Cup fourth round.

Keighley will face Featherstone if the pair get through their respective third-round ties at Hunslet and Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Cougars' trip to Hunslet will be a 3pm kick off on Sunday, February 11, while Thatto entertain Rovers on the same day, with that game getting underway at 2pm.
