Refreshments and entertainment will be provided and a special exhibition of Albion’s history will be on display.

The Pennine League opened its season on Saturday with only seven matches being played in seven divisions.

Three matches featuring local teams were postponed, including Keighley Albion’s away game at Siddal A and Albion A’s home game against Whitworth Spartans. The Cowling Harlequins match at New Earswick All Blacks A was also called off.

Silsden Park Rangers’ season is still up in the air as the club’s chairman and secretary Peter Fell said the league has agreed to postpone the club’s fixtures until October 13 as the club has yet to attract a coach and is still struggling to sign players.

Fell said: “I would be very surprised if we have a team this year.”

Pennine fixtures scheduled for this Saturday include Crigglestone All Blacks v Keighley Albion, Keighley Town v West Bowling A, Keighley Albion A v Rochdale Mayfield B and Dearne Valley Bulldogs A v Cowling Harlequins.
