    Keighley’s team of neighbourhood wardens is up to strength. There are now five of the “crime and grime” wardens patrolling around the Keighley constituency. The wardens’ tasks include reporting fly-tipping and graffiti, advising residents on recycling

  • Passengers face increase in bus fares in Craven area

    Some Keighley and District bus fares will rise from this Sunday. The increase, of just over 1 per cent, will affect certain journeys in the Craven area. Fares affected include a single from Airedale Hospital to Skipton, which will rise by 10p to £2.80

  • 4,300 parking tickets handed out in town

    Around 20 parking tickets a day are being handed out to Keighley motorists by council wardens. The new-style traffic wardens have pounced on 4,305 motorists parking illegally in the town. Across the district wardens have handed out almost 6,000 fines

  • Christmas at the Riddlesden mansion

    Christmas festivities begin next week at East Riddlesden Hall. All the next few weeks there will be tree decorating, later shop opening and a Victorian grotto. The shop will open next Wednesday from 5-8pm with discounts, promotions and Christmas specials
